Youth Empowerment Program provides community and school based mental health support to K-12 youth and parents/caregivers across Madera County through peer support services.
Youth programs help build emotional intelligence, reduce mental health stigma, and provide direct one-on-one support, peer support groups, and Blue Program curriculum resources.
Parents and caregivers can learn how to support both themselves and their youth by building mental health knowledge and skills, while accessing direct support, peer support groups, and evidence-based programs such as Triple P and Fear-Less.
This program offers a welcoming and supportive environment for middle and high school students to learn and grow. Students can be referred by school staff, parents or guardians, or may refer themselves by contacting us by phone or email. To participate, students must be enrolled in and receiving Medi-Cal.
