Is designed to reduce the need for law-enforcement involvement and hospitalization during mental-health-related crisis. Our two-member teams arrive in the community to assess immediate needs, help stabilize the situation and connect individuals and families with appropriate support.
Clinicians work in collaboration with law enforcement agencies throughout the county to provide immediate crisis intervention services. This team is dispatched by 911 dispatchers, while the crisis is in progress.
A community member calls 559-600-6000 to request Mobile Crisis Response Team support.
The situation is screened, and a two-member team is dispatched when the request meets response criteria.
The team provides assessments, deescalation, safety planning, education and connections to appropriate services.
A face-to-face meeting with the care team is followed by outreach within 72 hours to support continuity of care.
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
